digital narrative >>
"Literature is moving from its origins in oral traditions to a future that we can hardly envision" --Luis O. Arata
Digital narrative is not simply an act of turning electronic pages. Due to the mechanism of hypertext (linking), text on the Internet is increasingly multi-linear in nature. The readers interact with text and/or images, creating their own experiences. On the screen, text remains ever malleable, challenging roles of reader and writer, raising new questions about authorship. The user and the artist enter into a collaborative endeavor, changing the conventions of story-telling.
