[Intro] Cyber*Babes is a critical examination of the Telecommunications Act of 1996,
which dealt with censorship issues. This work raises questions regarding
identity, public information and pornography. The user navigates through
hypertext that is accompanied by suggestive images of body parts. These parts
have been remixed to create hermaphroditic icons for free speech. Hutton
appropriates her content from mainstream links to recontextualize the function
of the Internet and to explore free choice.
