Posthuman Cinema Selected for the 2024 International Digital Art Biennale in Montreal

Posthuman Cinema (PHC), released in October 2023 in collaboration with The Kate Vass Gallery (Zurich) and K011 platform, has been selected for the 7th International Digital Art Biennale (BIAN). This year’s theme is “Illusion” and will once again take place in Montreal at Arsenal Contemporary Art, one of the best sites for the exhibition of digital art. The event is produced by Elektra and is the largest exhibition dedicated to digital art in North America. The exhibition runs from May 31 – July 21, 2024.

All ten works in the series, each of which playfully experiments with AI as a form of otherworldly alien intelligence, will be on exhibition through July 21, 2024.

All the images, scripts, and voiceovers are made with AI and yet would have never seen the light of day were it not for the PHC Collective’s love of arthouse cinema and our collaborative “human touch.”

The PHC website includes high-resolution videos of all of the works as well as the PHC manifesto and more information about the art project.

The works, which were also featured at the inaugural edition of the Noise Art Fair in Istanbul in January 2024, are also available as NFTs at K011.
