The Terrible
Secret of Space |
|
Jonathan Robinson's The Terrible Secret of Space is 'sung' by the Pusher Robot and the Shover Robot and is based off of the song bearing the same name by The Laziest Men on Mars, the same creators of the song behind All Your Base Are Belong To Us. The song itself is based on an ICQ prank performed by Rich Kyanka of somethingawful.com where he transcribed a purposfully bizarre chatting session with a random ICQ user. On his website, Robinson reports that the animation itself receives over one million hits per day. The Terrible Secret of Space animation is funny but borderlines on disturbing. The images that flash in the background show people dead, frightened or at least generally distressed. While the Pusher Robot and the Shover Robot say that they 'are here to help you,' their actions make you question their motives. Then again, maybe they are just malfunctioning. Do you have stairs in your house??? |
